My career didn't start in private practice. It started in the classroom and moved into the administrative offices of the school district. I have served as an Education Specialist, a Program Specialist, and a District Administrator.
I watched dedicated parents agree to plans that were "legally sufficient" but educationally hollow, simply because they didn't know the right questions to ask. I realized that the only way to truly bridge the gap between a student's potential and their reality was to guide families through it.
