• We believe that true success for your child comes from comprehensive strategy, not just "putting out fires" one meeting at a time. For this reason, San Francisco Learning Solutions operates primarily on a Concierge Retainer Model. This ensures we have the time to review every document, draft every email, and attend every meeting without you watching the clock. We do offer a one-time "Comprehensive Audit" for families who just need a roadmap, but our core focus is ongoing partnership.

  • An attorney practices law; an advocate practices strategy. While we do not give legal advice, we specialize in the educational and administrative processes that schools use. Because our founder is a former School Administrator, we know how to navigate the bureaucracy, staffing logistics, and funding models that often stall services. If your case requires litigation (Due Process), we have a strong network of special education attorneys we partner with.

  • No ethical advocate or attorney can guarantee a specific outcome, as the IEP process involves a full team. However, we can guarantee that your child’s rights will be fiercely protected, that you will be the most prepared person in the room, and that we will use every "insider" tactic available to secure the appropriate support.

  • This is a common fear, but the reality is often the opposite. Schools are bureaucracies; they respond to professionalism and clarity. When you bring an experienced advocate who speaks their language (and used to be one of them), it often lowers the temperature in the room. We don't yell; we use data, policy, and compliance to get to "Yes." We turn an emotional argument into a business decision for the District.

  • Yes. As a retainer client, we don't just attend; we prepare you extensively beforehand and help lead the discussion during the meeting. We ensure the notes accurately reflect the conversation, that data is being used correctly, and that you never feel outnumbered or bullied.

  • We primarily serve families in San Francisco (SFUSD), as well as districts across Marin County and San Mateo County. Our deep familiarity with the specific program directors and policies of these local districts allows us to navigate the system faster than a generalist advocate.

  • We reserve capacity specifically for urgent cases. If you are a Retainer Client, you have priority access to us via text and email. If you are a new client in crisis, please book a Discovery Call immediately and note "URGENT" in the intake form. We review these daily and will do our best to expedite your onboarding.

  • Because we offer a high-touch service, we limit the number of families we represent each semester. The first step is to schedule a Discovery Call. We will discuss your child's needs, review your goals, and determine if our Insider approach is the right fit for your family.
